Golden

There is no intention behind anything i've noticed,
Like saying 'yes'
It is easy, but why do i not instead use the smaller word
'no' ?
Buzzing around me i've forgotten so much.
What it's like to be in my bunker
-in my secret place
-where i can hear myself think
-i've forgotten to remember.
I've lost that Golden Silence.

Apples to Apples is one of my favorite games;
We played last night for a couple hours.
Laughing, teasing, joking...
Karen and I talked

A good talk friends should have.
She pulled her pillow down and laid next to me.
Proped up on an elbow we talked about time
-we know we can't get it back
-we know we waste a little every day

Project: Golden Silence
I don't think she liked the idea much.
I want to go a whole week without communication
Idealy, I wouldn't talk (at all)
no texting
no phone conversations
no facebook chatting or messaging
no note-writing
--nothing.

I wish I could do it.
I feel like communication is a necessary and unavoidable part of society.
Part of culture.
Needless to say people would be confused and question-
I wouldn't answer.
But it's not for attention,
I wouldn't want it-
attention-
Just golden silence.
